Jon Brumit, interdisciplinary artist who experiments with competitive events and interactive performance. He is the creator of projects such as the Mobile Backyard (a fastidiously maintained lawn in the bed of his truck) and a recording project at the SF Recycling & Disposal center that uses salvaged objects as instruments. Brumit holds an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art and lives and works in Oakland.
