Suicide Barrier: secure in our illusion is a video installation by Perry Hallinan in collaboration with Ledoh, that tunes into the challenges of the transitional times in which we live in today. The result is a strange screen-saver of gathered photos and video that
presents varied themes of our mis-applied protection/security, cycles
of a neighborhood's pulse, industrial boom and busts,
and the knots of emotions that bind us in our collective paralysis.
PERRY HALLINAN: videographer / media artist and performer Perry has worked with the S.F. Butoh company Salt Farm, Mary Sano Duncan Dance and the modern dance company Kunst-Stoff.
LEDOH is an internationally-renowned multi-media performance artist who has electrified audiences around the globe for over 15 years with his riveting solo and ensemble performances and is the founder/director of Salt Farm.
