The luggage store/509 Cultural Center is a non profit organization, founded in 1987. We received our non profit status in November 1989. We are one of San Francisco's premier non profit multidisciplinary arts organizations. Our gallery exhibitions, performing arts, public art and educational programs are dedicated to culturail equity and broadening social and aesthetic networks/  Our programmig is designed  to encourage  the flow of images and ideas between different cultural, ethnic  and economic communities.

Please support the luggage store and its programs by purchasing
tee shirts, catalgoues and records or by purchasing art .
(70% of each sale goes to the artist, 30% to the luggage store.).
